you know when you find something and take a big liking to it? ... Well, that is me and my sari silk and hemp nests. I enjoyed making my last sari silk nests so much that I am very happy to make some more of them.
I wasn't able to get the same light shabby white sari silk ribbon that I used in my 'A Hue A Beauty and A Hint Of Pink' nest set but I now have a new stunning color ~ it is a shade of light coffee cream and so lovely.
This new silk must be the most delicate sari silk ribbon I have worked with so far.
It is so fine that when I was trying to roll it into a ball it would tear so easily but in the end I was able to get it done. With a little more care I then was able to make a few lovely nests from it and that is what I am sharing with all you lovely bloggers today, my newest sari silk and hemp nest.
For this nest I 'grew' little roses ...
... in a very delicate shade of pink.
And this is where they now live, on my latest creation ...
... my 'English Rose Garden' nest.
(The nest in now sold)
I let the roses 'grow' around the nest a little. There are seventeen roses in total ~ eight large, four smaller roses and five rosebuds and one is just a pretty as the other.

I am so happy with the way this creation has turned out. The colors harmonize so lovely with each other and the little blue eggs just add the right amount of vibrancy to it.
There is no doubt, you will be seeing more of my sari silk and hemp nests in the future for sure. I am already working on the next one as I am writing this post. So, if you would like to see it, all you have to do is visit me some time again here at Todolwen.
I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.
Have a peaceful and creative day.
