Apple Blossoms..

Hello my dear friends,

I am taking to using color a little more and liking it a little more too these days. Maybe it's because Spring is in the air. I have also taken. as I am sure you are all aware of, a huge liking to making singed edge flowers and right now I am working on a new type. I need them for a new nest I am planning on making and they just shout out 'Spring' in my eyes.

I wanted to create apple blossoms based on the singed edged concept and after a little trail and error, which is always a big part of my work process, I am happy to say that they have turned out just the way I wanted them to ... take a look!

I love the way they look, they have turned out so pretty.

Now all I have to do is work on how to create buds to go with the flowers and then I can take the next step to completing my latest creation.

~

A couple of days later ..

I didn't get the buds right far so I opted for just opened blossoms instead.

After a few attempts again my design for a half open apple blossom was worked out ...

... and now I can work on putting  my newest nest together but that will be or another post.

Do stop by when ever you have a few moments spare and take a look what I have been up too. I might just have something new to share.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.

  5. The little touches of colour 'inside' the apple blossoms is so realistic. I can almost smell them!
