Aunt Mildred's Pin Keep ..

Hello my dear friends,

today I am sharing the second one of my newest pin cushions with you.

For this one I used one these tarnished drinking vessels which I had recently found in a second hand store. I wanted this pincushion to be different than the first one. It's look should be more delicate, vintage, 'oldy worldy' and just lovely. That in my book meant less is more and I needed to use something that was just special and different which I did. I had some little vintage porcelain roses which were basically made for this pincushion. A piece of the same old tablecloth as I used in my previous pincushion and a string of vintage pearls, that's all that was needed to make this creation in my eyes.

Once completed my older daughter thought it looked like something an old English Aunt would have sitting on her little table in her country cottage and maybe her name was something like Mildred or so. I liked her idea so much that I therefor gave this pin cushion it's name ...
... 'Aunt Mildred's Pin Keep'.

What do you think?
I hope you have enjoyed my newest creation and I am hoping to have something new to share soon again.

I would also like to thank you for stopping by and visiting me here at Todolwen again.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.
