A Rememberance Stone ..

Hello my dear friends,

it is hard to lose a pet when it has been in the family and especially when it has been with you for many years.

Today I am sharing a small creation my daughter Asheigh made for my son-in-law who just lost his cat after having her for over 13 years.

It is a remembrance stone to mark the place in his parent's garden where she now is resting.
The idea of making this marker was a gathering of thoughts from both of my daughters and myself a little too ~ I picked the stone from our river bed.

The next time my son-in-law and daughter are going to visit his parents, they will place the stone in their garden.

It is such a simple way to remember your loved furry friend and a thoughtful gift like this would touch anyone's heart who has lost a pet.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.

  1. Oh how beautiful and so touching.

I found a block of tindalstone and wrote my dog's name on it to mark her resting spot in our yard. Not as fancy as yours!

  2. How special Karen, Our pets are all buried in the same area, they need their own garden and this would be awesome.
