Outdoor Spring Cleaning Has Begun..

Hello my dear friends,

at last ... Spring is here!
Finally the season has made it's appearance and I am so glad about it.

My trees are blooming with new leaves, ...

my plants are starting to grow ...

... and my flowers are already showing off all their colors and beauty.

Being given new energy by the suns rays I have already started my spring cleaning outdoors.

To the ducks dismay I emptied the water off the winter top cover of the pool  a few days ago and ... I can tell you it was yucky ...

... all green and messy and a bit smelly.
It took me about 6 hours but now it is done and everything is nice and clean again.

And believe it or not the ducks still come and stay in our garden every day. There might only be a little bit of fresh water on the winter cover but they still paddle and waddle on it as good as they can and use it as a drinking source as well.

I am still hoping they don't nest in our garden as much as I would love them to because another critter ... a raccoon has made it presents very known.

I am wondering if our little woven birdhouse might see little baby birds in it this year? I yes, I will try my best to get at least on photo to share with you.

I can't believe that the sunshine is making me want to do so much right now which I am so happy about. I wonder what are all you lovely bloggers up to these days?

It is always so nice when you stop to visit me here at Todolwen and I would love for you to stop by sometime soon again.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day,

Karen B.

  1. We're getting real spring here too, in the Northwest. Everything is greening up and a few bulbs are popping open. The ducks have clearly made your backyard their home. Good luck to them.

  3. Hi Karen, thanks for sharing your photos, and what is the five petal blue flower? I spent all day outside today too. I love the smell of clothes hung on the line, which I was able to do today. Thanks for sharing. Blessings and smiles, Emilou :-)
