Early Sunday Morning ...

Hello my dear friends,

I know that I have just recently shared one of our visits to the beach but this time it was different.

I have wanted to do this for some time now. I wanted to get up early on a Sunday morning and drive to Lake Huron and just walk on the beach and do nothing else apart from taking some photographs and looking for beach treasures. Yes, just walking, breathing and enjoying the surroundings with hopefully not too many other people around. What an amazing way to spend the early hours of a Sunday morning and that is exactly what we did this past weekend. Even the drive to the lake was a little different than it normally is. We decided to stop more along the way, something we haven't done in a long time.  It was foggy and the air was damp and smelt like Fall already.

The sun was trying it's best to shine through the low clouds. It didn't quite work but it did make the misty morning look so amazing.

We stopped in a small town for my younger daughter to take some photographs of an old house. I parked under a large old chestnut tree ...

... that was hanging full ...

... of it's Autumn fruit. Yes, Fall was on it's way for sure.

We also stopped at the water reservoir that was in the area. Another thing we haven't done in years.

Isn't is just stunning?!

The sun was being a little more successful as the morning slowly grew older, now breaking through the fog here and there and ...

... making the water sparkle like diamonds in places.

The gems of my life ... my two lovely baby girls!

Wild daisies were growing in the midst of the path to the water and looked so beautiful.

After a short stay we continued to be on our way to Lake Huron but that is what I am going to share with you tomorrow. I  hope you have enjoy our little road trip so far and if you have a few spare moments why not stop by here again. As always I took many photographs for you to see.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.
