A First For Me ~ Fake Flowers ...

Hello my dear friends,

there is always a 'first time' for everything.

This time it is a first for me to buy artificial flowers for our home. I have always shied away from them either because they looked too fake or they were too expensive. Right now Michaels has all of their artificial flowers on a 'buy one, get one free' deal and so I thought I might just take a look and see what they have. I have to say that I was very impressed. The quality of some of their fake flowers is really, really good and I actually walked out of the store after buying some very pretty blossoms.

At home I went on the search for the right 'container' for my new purchase and found it in the shape of my old and lovely tarnished water jug. I knew that this beauty would be perfect for our home when I bought it a few months ago and now I finally get to use it.

I love real flowers very much but since we have two cats and many flowers are very dangerous for them, I can't have the real thing but I am very happy with my newly found flowers. I have beautiful blossoms and my cats are safe, a win/win situation for sure.
