A Basket Full Of Posies ...

Hello my dear friends,

I had such a lovely time yesterday evening.

Being creative was exactly what I needed and I am happy to share what I made with all of you.
I love Victorian pieces and especially ones that are beautiful 'working pieces'. With that in mind I went to work on my newest pincushion using the little antique wire work basket I had shared with you in yesterday's post. Gray colored velvet and of course seam binding were a must too. You all already knew that my vintage velvet violets were going to be a part of this creation and I also decided to use one of the only two old tattered velvet violet leaves as well.

All together they have become a lovely new pincushion which I have named ...

"A Basket Full Of Posies".

And this is it ...

I couldn't be happier with my newest creation because it turned out exactly the way I had pictured it in my mind. Old and used and just so pretty too. I will be listing this pincushion for sale in my Etsy shop some time tomorrow morning in case any of you might be interested.

I hope you have enjoyed my newest piece of work.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting me here at Todolwen. It is always so nice when you do.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.
