A Little White Pumpkin ...

Hello my dear friends,

this is my first white pumpkin and also my first pumpkin that I have created from a vintage chenille bed spread that I had hiding away in the darkest corner of my linen closet. I am so happy I decided to make it because I think it has turned out very lovely!

It is somewhat the same as my other pumpkins that I have made apart from it's stuffing. This one isn't filled with crushed walnut shells but with a cup of poly pellets to weigh it down a little and fibrefill. I also didn't make this pumpkin as a pincushion in mind but as a decoration piece.

As the stem I again used an old tarnished teaspoon handle. A few of my velvet leaves, a small piece of sparkle and a larger bow made from crinkled seam binding in the color 'como beige' were a must for this little white Autumn fruit. All of these different bits and pieces made this creation what it is in my eyes ... beautiful!

Looking at this little soft pumpkin, I think I am going to have to make another one or two of them soon because I sure do love the way it's look. This one is already spoken for.

Thank you for stopping by to visit me here at Todolwen today. It is always so nice when you do.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.
