Little Gifts ..

Hello my dear friends,

a little while ago, I was sitting and chatting with one of our neighbours one morning when she mentioned how much she loves lavender sachets but wasn't able to find any in the stores these days.
Needless to say that my creative streak kicked in right away and in my head I was thinking of how I could make this lovely lady a few of the lovely smelling sachets.

I still had some of the lavender left over from my daughter's wedding and it still had the full beautiful scent of the pretty tiny purple flowers.

My search continued to find something to put the lavender in and then I found these ...

... little muslin bags ...

... with drawstrings in one of my storage boxes.

I had bought these little fabric 'bags' at Michaels at least a year ago and never got to use them, that is until now and since I am more than one lovely neighbour living around me, I made three sets of lavender sachets. One set for each of them.

I tried to pick colors that were perfect for each of my neighbours and after gifting them with their little smelling sachets, I now know that I choose wisely.

And here are my little sachets ...

... each one embellished with one of my seam binding roses and a few of my sari silk leaves.

The first color of seam binding I used is called ...

...'Violet'.

The next color I chose was ...

... 'Bark Tan'.

And the final color is called ...

... 'Rose Beige'.

Don't they all just look so lovely?

I am really happy that I decided to do this because I love creating things and I also love putting a little smile on some one's face ... it makes my heart smile!

It is so nice that you took the time to stop by and visit me today, here at Todolwen.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you  kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.
