I actually forgot to share what was in the box I told you about in yesterdays post.
After having created a pincushion using an Evans table lighter housing I just wanted to see if I could find anymore neat pieces and I did and these are the two new pieces I had bought on ebay.
Aren't they just so lovely?!
They both are again vintage Evans table lighters (I removed the inside before I took the photos) and
I couldn't be happier to have found them.
I am already busy gathering bits and pieces together and working on how I want them to look like once done. They both of course will become pincushions but then that was already given thing. I am so excited to create them which I am sure will be sooner than later.
Do stop by again soon if you have a little spare time and maybe I will have something new to share with you.
I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.
Have a peaceful and creative day.
These will make beautiful pin cushions also Karen, I look forward to seeing what you create!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for always sharing the pieces you find, Karen, as I love vintage pieces becoming new again. I'm excited as well to see your finished pieces of art. You encourage me to create unique pieces as well. I love seeing your posts in my email! <3
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Can't wait to see the your finished project!
ReplyDeleteCannot WAIT to see the end result. I just know it will be breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteHappy day ...

These are fun pieces - perfect for your creations. We were in the local second hand store today and I checked out the tarnished silver pieces - some of them were as low as $2 each (wouldn't our grandmothers/mothers be horrified to think their precious silver was going for mere pennies?)
