today I am sharing one of those little things in life that make me happy.
It is my little African violet. I received it as a gift from one of my lovely neighbours over a year ago. It had many lovely purple flowers for a little while and then the little plant almost died on me.
I tried my best to keep it alive and even though some of it's green leaves turned pink with time, I didn't give up on it and this is why ...
... after almost a year, it now has new little flowers blooming!
And this is one of those little things in life that make me happy.
I wish you all one of those little things in life!
I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.
Have a peaceful and creative day.
One of my favorite plants...I have several in my kitchen...

Reminds me of my grandmother who had soooo many pots of these in her little house. She must have had a magic touch...I was never so successful. They are sweet little plants.
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself to buy a violet plant ... just never do. You've given me a nudge in that direction. Yours is beautiful!

I used to have good luck with these and started many of them for friends. Alas, when we moved to this apartment I lost my north-facing windows and my violets were NOT happy. East just isn't what they seem to want.
