do you remember the days when your Mom would put the butter in a lovely dish on the table?
I remember we used to have a glass butter dish and my Grandma used to have a pretty china one. These days not many people use them anymore so more and more of them show up in antique and thrift stores and that is how I came to finding this one a few days ago.
It is a metal butter dish that is a little tarnished and dull but the shape of it is so pretty and ornate. Years ago it would have been a much used piece in some one's home but now it was just a unwanted item. Well, maybe for someone else but not for me.
I have always walked away from butter dishes because I had no idea of what I could do with it but that has now changed. It took me a couple of attempts to get it right but my newest creation is almost finished and I am looking forward to sharing it with all of you tomorrow.
Thank you for stopping by and visiting me here at Todolwen again. It is always so nice when you do.
I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.
Have a peaceful and creative day.
