My Garden Critters ..

Hello my dear friends,

you all know how much I love the critters that visit our garden and today I am sharing a few new photos of with all of you Lovelies. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

I always love it when the blue jays visit. They call out load and make me aware that they are there, in hope to receive a few peanuts.

A little cardinal came by too ...

... and found a few little red berries to feed on.

And of course there are all the cute little squirrels ....

At time we might have ten all at once in our garden, playing around, chasing each other and looking for a treat in the shape of a peanut or a piece of apple.

Just look at all the little food prints in the snow!

Everyone is very happy until this stunning creature showed up in our neighbours tree and then all of the sudden all the furry critters were all gone again. I don't blame them, do you?! I would be worried if I were a squirrel.

A beautiful and majestic bird but this time he left without a catch.

The next fethered beings that should 'fly in' will be the local ducks again but it will be a little while before they do because the pool is still solid ice. I am already looking forward to their first visit of the year and watching them swim in the pool and of course I will share a few photos of it too.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.

  1. What lovely winter scenes. The jay and the cardinal have crazy hair cuts - very punk!

  2. Beautiful photographs. You get such gorgeous birds in your garden! And the photos of the squirrels are just lovely. xx

  3. How wonderful for you to have these gorgeous creatures come to your yard. Thanks for sharing!

  4. How wonderful for you to have these gorgeous creatures come to your yard. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Oh how sweet are your squirrels?! Love them soooooooooooooo much.
Here we see them very seldom.

    Hugs Ines♥

  6. Wonderful visitors to your garden. Particularly love the cardinals & blue jays.

  7. LOVE the footprints in the snow. You certainly have a way with the camera!

  8. Wonderful pictures. Thank you for sharing your garden critters. We don't see Cardinals in our Alberta back yard. A hawk couple make their nest in a blue spruce across our street each spring and scare all the lovely birds away that we enjoy at our bird feeders in winter.

  9. So nice that you get blue jays this time of year. We only get them in the fall and spring and they disappear during the winter. It's odd, because you'd think they'd be hungry and enjoy the feeder. My friend, who lives not far away, seems to have them all year.

  10. oooohhhh! they´re lovely all the little animals in your garden, but, recently I fell in love with birds, and the critters are sooooo beautiful!
