I had so much fun making my drop cloth pumpkin and since it needed a friend, I just had to make another one to keep my first pumpkin a little company. Whilst I was out and about at Fabricland a few days ago buying fabric I needed to a different project, I found a lovely drapery fabric that I had to have. Well, at least a little piece of it. It was perfect to make a pumpkin creation with, so that is what I did. And that is what I am sharing with you Lovelies today, my second little pumpkin.
Take a look!
What do you think?
This pumpkin is a little larger than the first one and I chose an old knife handle as the stem for it and again it turned out very neat in my eyes.
I am very happy with my newest pumpkin and the two of them look very nice together. Since I didn't take a photo of them together just yet, I can't show you how nice they look together right now but I will do so very soon.
Will I be making more? ... I might be but then thinking again ... yes, I will be making at least one other one for sure. You see three pumpkins are not a crowd ~ they are a pumpkin gathering.
I would like to say thank you to all of you for all your kind and sweet comments. They mean so much to me and I am very grateful for them.
I am already working on my next creation, so do pop by again sometime soon again.
I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.
Have a peaceful and creative day.

I had bought this neat broach at least 3 years ago and it has been waiting patiently in one of my doors for it's turn to shine and now it does.

These pumpkins are so pretty and clever. I love the addition of the little jewelry pieces. Such a special sparkly touch.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that came together beautifully! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Isn't it awesome when items you have seem to "marry" together so well?
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkin is so beautiful! I LOVE the knife as the stem. That is so creative and the design on the handle adds such a pretty detail. And what a lovely green brooche.. yes it's definitely it's time to shine! Have a blessed weekend and thank you for sharing your creations with us.
Hugs,
Tamara
Lovely unique pumpkin you have created. Pumpkin Bliss...
ReplyDeleteThese are not pumpkins I would only put out in the fall and at Halloween. I think they are deserving of being seen all year round.
ReplyDeleteI love the green on this one. It really makes it pop!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pumpkin! I love the knife handle, so clever Karen!
