it had been weeks since we had any rain here in SW Ontario until a few days ago and the rain finally came.
The skies turn quite dark and then the clouds opened up.
A lot of rain fell and it fell hard.
Of course I couldn't resist to go outside and take a few photos ~ I didn't mind getting wet.
The rain fell so hard that it created many little bubbles ...
... in the puddles that were on the street and sidewalk.
After the clouds were empty and lighter, they moved on and the sky turned slowly blue again.
Even though it rained intensely, the falling drops were not strong enough ...
... to damage or destroy this little spiderweb that lives in our blue spruce.
Instead the little drops turned into lovely clear ornaments ~ amazing, isn't it?!
Thank you for stopping by here at Todolwen and taking the time to visit me.
I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating kind.
Have a peaceful and creative day.

Thank you for sharing your rain and your pictures with us. I live in Arizona and rain is scarce here. It's just dusty and dry, 102 degrees today. I look at your pictures and I get refreshed ad renewed. It puts me in the mood to bake!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rain.We live in a dry place, so rain is a blessing.Love this little spider and web which survived. In the old days, they used spider web for stitching wounds!

We finally got rain in IL. too. Pretty photos!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely amazing - hard to believe that spiderwebs are that strong. Even more amazing is how the spiders spin them. Such a feat of engineering.
