it is so wonderful how everything is now slowly blooming in our garden.
Right outside our dining room window we have a lovely little azalea bush.
I had replanted it whilst I was doing the landscaping a few years ago. Back then it was stuck between a bunch of flame bushes and not doing too well but now things have changed. It has grown a lot and is looking much healthier too. Over the past week I have been taking some photographs of it and today I would like to share them with you so you can see my little beauty.

When Spring arrives and the sun starts shining more and more ...
... more flowers starting to appear.
Then once ready they start to bloom!
At first only a few but as the days go by ...
... more and more stretch their petals towards the warm rays ...
... until the entire bush is one ...
... beautiful bouquet of color.
Whilst taking a few more pictures one early evening, I was very fortunate to capture this little creature happily going about it's 'beesness'.
Isn't a bumble bee just something so neat and lovely?! ~ I get a buzz from them.
I am still keeping my eye on our little feathered nesting couple and everything seems to be OK so far and I will try and keep you up to date if any little beings arrive.
It was so nice of you to stop by here today and I hope you will do so some time again.
I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.
Have a peaceful and creative day.
What a lovely bouquet you have to show us today! So pretty and they made me smile.
ReplyDeleteI love bumblebees too - there's something sweet about them - I don't like bugs as a rule, but I do love them. I grow marjoram in my herb garden and they are absolutely crazy about it - it's amazing to watch. This year I'm going to plant it out in the yard as well, to make sure they are well fed for the winter... we just re-built my whole herb garden, and I'm excited to re-plant it. I am sure azaleas will grow here - I've never had one, but yours is so gorgeous I'm going to see if I can find one for myself!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteMy husband just bought me a bonsai azalea...it's the cutest thing, and I can't wait till it flowers.
Thank you for the photo of the bumblebee! I have never seen one, but my daughter Blossom was in the UK the year she turned 18 and told me about them. :-)
What a beautiful progression. I'm so happy you get to look out your window and experience such beauty.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!

Dear Karen,
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful azalea you have and what a good idea to take so many photos of it!
My azalea is a red one, but even your spring started much later than here in Germany, your azalea is blooming and I am still waiting for the red flowers.
