A Week Ago Sunday ..

Hello my dear friends,

a week ago Sunday I spend time with my two lovely daughters out and about junking and looking at antique stores for most of the morning. We visited an antique store where we hadn't been in some time and usually I almost never find anything I like there but this time I was in luck. Not only did I find one treasure but three!

Over the next days I am going to try and turn each found piece into a new creation if things go right and share them with all you lovely blogger in three different posts.

Today's post is about the first piece I found.
It caught my eye and I knew it was a piece that had to be mine.

And this is it ..

It is a tulip made from pewter in 1986 by a company call Seagull Pewter Canada. It is such a beautiful piece of vintage art.

Just looking at it for the first time, I knew what I wanted it to become and how it was meant to look once I had worked on it and I must say ... I love the way it has turned out.

And this is it now my newest pincushion creation ...

... ' A Little Vintage Tulip'

I hope you enjoyed my newest creation, as always I just loved making it.
Please do visit me soon again to see my second finding and what I have created from it.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.

  2. How beautiful, dear Karen,- , so lovely and romantic, the silver tulip is wonderful on its own, but you gave it just something very special, making it to this adorable pincussion. How unique and amazing.
