Very Little Time To Create

Hello my dear friends,

I can't believe I haven't been able to work on Todolwen in over a week again and I also really miss all of you!

I have been so terribly busy these past weeks with my outdoor project that there is almost no time at all to sit down and be creative for Todolwen. I have a few new ideas , one I am trying to work on  a tiny bit every other day and others waiting patiently for their turn to end up on my table which I can only say ~ I hope will be very soon.

On the other hand I am getting a bit closer every day to finishing my outdoor project/challenge and today I would like to share a few pictures with you showing you my progress. It is very hard work and I am determined to do as much as I can on my own but these last few days I only managed no more than 4 or 5 hours a day because of the heat.

Please remember that after we had our pool put in last year it was so late in the summer and I did almost nothing at all to maintain our yard really but just let it go, until now...

... and here are a few before and after pictures again.

What once was a 'weed bed' is once again a ...

 ... flower bed.

The side of my house ~ a mess with weeds and other garden stuff ...

... now again tidy and waiting for the next step.

And the path to the lawn and pool which has more weeds than anything and is missing a few stepping stones ...

... is now all fixed again. (I might have shown you the last two pictures before)

It is taking me much longer than I would like and I can't wait for my challenge to be done and then once again I can donate more of my time to creating and Todolwen.

Don't give up on me when I don't post for a longer time, keep stopping by here at Todolwen to see what I have been up to ~ I love it when you do!

I hope you are well and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day,

Karen B.

  3. I have to admit I was a bit worried about you, as each day would pass and no Karen at Todolwen would post. I was worried that your leg was bothering you again, but I should have know that you were out with Manual Labor again, and working very hard. Your pictures are wonderful and I can tell how hard you have been working, because it really shows and there is such a big difference! Everything is so neat and tidy, which is the way I like things. I don't even care if sometimes there is a sparse area here and there, as long as it looks clean! Thanks for sharing. My blog is finally up and working. Please visit me and tell me what you think. I made my mother a salt shaker with little flowers, just like the one you had on your blog, and as soon as I post a picture of it, I will link back to you, to let my readers
will know that I copied you. My mother loved it. She's 84 this year, and loves pretty things.
