Hello my dear friends,
firstly I hope that all of you and your loved ones are safe, healthy and well and that life is somewhat being kind to you in this difficult time the world is going through.
It has been a while again hasn't it, months actually and you would think that being at home for almost all of this time it would give me so much more time to create and blog but it just didn't happen that much. I did create a little and shared what I made on Instagram but when it came to blogging, it wasn't in me for some reason. Well, there are a few reasons actually ...
... firstly I was made aware that photos are missing on Todolwen. No idea why and how many but after I checked it seems that quite a few are just gone which is so sad. Unfortunately it would take forever trying to fix this and I don't even have all of the photos anymore. So that really bothered me quite a bit.
Then after almost 9 years my "purple baby" (my laptop) died on me and it was with me from the beginning of Todolwen so I was a little lost. My husband was so sweet and spoilt me and gifted me with a new laptop for my birthday. It's a different to my old one but I am getting used to it so hopefully things will get better with blogging because I do have things to share with you. I still need to get a lot of information and photos off my old laptop but that will be done soon as well with the help of my son-in-law who is amazing with anything to do with computers.
Another issue has been that I had been locked out of my Todolwen facebook account for the second time now due to changes that facebook made. I am hoping that they will soon fix this problem otherwise my page on facebook might be something of the past unless I might decide to start fresh again but I am not sure just yet. Good news is that I am still on Instagram. I like it alot because it is simple, fast and it is "on hand" or rather "in hand" with me alot of the time or rather most of the time, so I will be around one way or the other and sharing with you what I am up too.
What am I doing these days?! ...
I am working on some new bits and pieces right now, mainly for Christmas and Winter time. I am also working on getting some of my older and newer creations ready to be listed in my Etsy shop.
On top of that I am working in our back and front yard to get them ready for the Winter.
And last but not least ... we are having one more thing done to our home this year possibly. It all depends on how bad things might get these next few months. If everything is OK, we are going to have a new window cut into the outer living room wall and a transom window installed to allow more natural light into the room. If you don't know what a transom window looks like, it looks like a letterbox opening ... wide and short. I am excited but also worried of course, because I always worry about stuff like that but I am sure it will look great once it is done and that is that.
Now my dear friends, you are mostly up to date with me and my little life.

Hellooooo Karen. Good to see a post from you. I am sorry about all your computer issues and that your purple computer is now gone. It is hard when we lose something we are so use to having and have to start over. The new window sounds wonderful. More light is always a good thing. Glad to hear you are doing well and are safe and well. Times are so hard to live in right now. Let's hope as we head down the hill to the holidays that will give us all some brightness.
