New Winter Pumpkins ...

Hello my dear friends,

I had so much fun creating my Winter pumpkins last year and I still love the idea of Winter pumpkins, that I just had to make one for this year too. (I actually made two.)

Just like last year, I made them in the colors white and off~white. This year's ones have a little vine growing on them, that is made from hand dyed seam binding in a lovely shade of green and three of my singed edge velvet pumpkin leaves are growing on the vine. The tendrils are made from that same shiny silver wire and of course a bow made from crinkled seam binding is also a part of the pumpkin, just like last year. The final touch this time is in the shape of three shiny jingle bells. All put together, a little Winter harmony in my eyes.

I am so happy to share them with all of you today ... my new Winter pumpkins!

Whether in off~white, which is so pretty or ...

... in white, both pumpkins look the perfect part for the Winter time and Christmas in my eyes.

I hope you have enjoyed my newest makings as much as I have enjoyed creating them.

I will be listing these two Winter fruits in my Etsy shop this evening at around 8 pm ET if any of you should be interested. Why not pop over and take a look?!

We have just had our first snow here in Ontario and with the falling snow come a few new ideas for Christmas creations. Right now I am working on something little and I am just hoping that my idea will turn out they way I would like it too. Guess you and I will just have to wait and see. So when ever you have a few moments, why not stop by and see what I have been up too?!

Thank you for taking the time to strop by today here at Todolwen. It is always so nice when you do.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.

  4. I have seen pumpkins before, but done like this . . . you blow my mind with your creativity genius. I just found your blog and sent you an email, because I found it on Pinterest with a 2011 post. I'm delighted that you are still blogging. I am adding you to my favorites list on the side column of mine. I don't want to miss a single post and will be going through your older posts for more stunning inspiration.
    Sooooooooooooooooo happy to meet you!
    Connie :)
