Winter Has Arrived ..

Hello my dear friends,

thank you all for your kind well wishes. You are all so sweet and thoughtful.

I do feel better since a few days now and I am glad that I do because winter made another attempt and now has finally arrived here in Ontario. We received about 6 inches of snow over night two days ago. The temperatures had already been falling to minus 22 with the windchill over the past week already but without snow. To my dismay our snow blower decided it didn't want to 'play' that morning and I ended up shoveling our driveway and sidewalk nice and slow by hand but. Thankfully I have found out what was wrong ... namely me not reading the instructions properly and now the snow blower does all the hard work again.

I am behind in posting about Christmas and what I have been up too but I will try and catch up on sharing in the next days. For today I will leave you with a few photos of Olde Man Winter.

Snow everywhere the eye can see and loving it as always.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting me again here at Todolwen. I love it when you do!

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.

  2. Gorgeous photos! We had a little snow - not much tho. Thank goodness! I'm not a snow person. I don't mind the snow but we usually get ice first and then snow on top which makes traveling almost impossible,

    Enjoy your beautiful snow.

  6. I can just feel the cold from some of your photos, even though othere give a clear crisp look, but others show the BRrrrrrr ! I love the second last photo it looks as if a fluffy mini snow creature is keeping your beautiful figureen warm, cosy & company. Here in Scotland UK I have had three roses grow and now my wallflower is also growing but the weather is about to get much, much colder for a few days.

  8. I love the pictures with the virgin snow. Don't like to see footprints - seems to ruin the pretty, don't you agree?

So happy you're feeling well again.

I am no friend of winter, cold temperatures and snow, but I always like your photos and I am happy for you, because you like it.
Here in Germany some places have snow, but mine just rain. How lucky I am :-)!
For the beginning of next week we should get -5°C and that is much to cold for me, but it comes like it comes ;-).

    Hugs Ines♥
