I Don't Plan To Shop These Days ...

Hello my dear friends,

I don't know what it is but as soon as I mentioned, that I don't go out junking/shopping very often anymore, all of the sudden I find the neatest things when I am out and about, that just have to take them home with me. These past few weekends I had been out spending time with my lovely daughters and I just by chance I found some very nice pieces! Some for me and some to work with and when you see them, you will understand why I just couldn't leave them standing on the shelf! Today I am sharing one of those pieces.

It is a vintage trinket/jewelry box that was meant to sit on a vanity.

It has such a lovely shape, a little fancy but not too much.

It has a great lid that can stand which is something I love.

This lid just couldn't get any better for me to work with.

The inside was covered in red "velvet". Well, not real velvet but a "lookalike" type of it, that wasn't nice at all and actually the only thing I didn't like about this piece, so it just had to go as soon as I got home with it!

Overall a very lovely piece, don't you think?!

Just like other times, as soon as I saw this piece, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it and when I got home, I started to work on it. Right now I am adding the final touches to my newest creation and then it is done. All that is left to do then, is take some photographs to share with all of you which I will hopefully get to tomorrow or in the next few days.

Thank you for stopping by here at Todolwen, it is always so nice when you do.

I hope you are well and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.
