Working On A New Custom Order ...

Hello my dear friends,

I am always happy when I am busy and/or being creative. It helps getting away from the normality of the day and if anything is bothering me, it just takes my mind of what ever that might be.

After just finishing my newest nest creations, I am already to start working on a new custom order and I am looking so much forward to it.

There is this lovely lady called Pat. Pat loves pincushions very much. Last year she approached me, asking if she could send me her found tarnished treasures and if I could turn them all into pincushions for her. I was very happy to do so for this lovely lady and she was very happy with what I created for her.

These are the pieces I created for her last year.

A little while ago Pat emailed me again and last week I received a parcel from Pat with new treasures to transform. I am actually quite excited to do this again for her because the pieces she sent are all so beautiful again. Every piece is just such a neat piece and treasure and I have come up with a few ideas of what I could do with each of them and I can't wait to do my little thing with all of them.

And these are the pieces that were in the parcel this time ...

... a antique pair of leather baby shoes, ...
(I am so in love with these!)

... a beautiful etched and tarnished sugar bowl, ...

... a very detailed and lovely golden candle holder, ...

... and last but not least two little tarnished tea strainers.

These lovely spoons ...

... were a gift to me from Pat for future pumpkin creations.
They are just so neat and I love that they are so tarnished!

I am hoping to get the four pincushions done by the end of the week and back on their way home to Pat but before I wrap them all up, I will make sure to share them with all of you. So if you have a few spare moments later on this week, do visit me again and see what I have been up too.

And don't forget now!!! ...
