Remembering A Beautiful Animal ..

Hello my dear friends,

I am so brokenhearted.
Today I am remembering a special being in my life.

I am remembering Marmalade our neighborhood cat.

He lived around the corner from our house but he loved our front porch so much, it was like his second home. He would be there first thing in the morning and often last thing late at night. Summer or Winter, rain or shine.

He was such a lovely animal and he had the loudest purr you have ever heard.

Unfortunately he is now gone.
He was hit by a car as far as I know early this morning.
I am praying he is in a better place now.

This photo of him is one I just took day before yesterday when he was enjoying the warm sun rays.
Oh ... I will miss you so terribly much, baby boy ...
I am so grateful that you were in my life and that you touched my heart.

  7. Sorry to hear about this. Interesting how every creature has its own personality. It's good that we have fond memories of those who enter our lives and enrich us.

  9. Sorry to hear about Marmalade, animals have the power to give us so much, for so little in return. Who says their aren't any angels, just look into the eyes of one our darling furry family member's and you know that they surely do exist. My prayers are with you. Guida

  11. Marmalade had a very good friend in you. It is so sad that this had to come to such a sad ending. There are never any good byes, only well wishes, til you see Marmalade again. God has a plan for all the pets and animals alike. He needed sweet Maramalade at this time for a reason we humans dont know. Be asured that Maramalade has been made healthy ad whole again. You are in my prayers Karen as you go through this time. ((((((((Karen)))))))))

  14. How sad, but it's good to know he was loved and appreciated while here on earth. I firmly believe there is a special place in heaven for pets - otherwise how could it be heaven?

  15. Awww, very sad news. I also have a neighborhood cat that strolls over to receive a snack every now and then. I always worry about him for the same sad ending. People drive way too fast in neighborhoods! If something does happen to my little friend, I would never know cause I don't even know who's cat it is... :/

Thank you for your love and prayers- they are so needed. Please keep them going up above...

  20. When an animal dies, he or she goes to the rainbow bridge. On the other side, there are many animal friends. There is no pain, only delight. May Marmalade feel the sun on his fur and the snuggle of friends. Rest in eternity.
