Tiny Little Things ..

Hello my dear friends,

I am sure most of you know how much I love to create little things and sometimes even tiny things. Remember my little cupboard mice?! I made that tiny one that now lives in a nutshell. It seems to be no different when it comes to Christmas trees by the look of it.

I had an idea for a new creation which called for a Christmas tree ...
... a teeny, tiny Christmas tree and this is the one I made yesterday!

Oh and yes, it is standing on a penny!

And these are my photo props ...

... an old tin, an antique velvet ring box and of  course my little old penny ...

... and they worked perfectly to capture my teeny little tree!

Like I said at the beginning of this post, I am working on a new Christmas creation in which this tiny tree will be a part of and I am hoping to be able to share it with you soon.

And last but not least ...

... a few photos of our snow that we had yesterday.

Some people call it ''the lake effect" ... I call it beautiful!

Tomorrow morning you will find me outside with our snow blower clearing driveways and smiling whilst doing so.

I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day.

  3. This is great! I love the tree : )

  4. Oh my goodness! So teeny tiny, love it! Love your pictures - what camera do you use? I'm using one that is well over a decade and can't get good colour shots.

  5. I really LOVE your pics of your friend "Squirrely Squirrel" and never tire of your equally great "tiny pretties". Thanks for sharing with us.

  6. This tree is not small, it's great!
Love your snow pictures so much. The squirrel is so cute!

    Hugs Ines♥

  7. So pretty! I have a few tiny trees like that, I adore your entire picture! Can't wait to see the finished look! Your snow is gorgeous! We have had frozen days, and it looks like snow, but it is just frozen fog!

  8. I love the little tree! Precious! Also precious is the squirrel...I miss them. For some reason, they don't live hear us, but they do live in a nearby town. I can't figure this one out! We had so many when we lived in Ohio, but here in coastal North Carolina, they are in short supply.

  9. GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES ... and your teeny tiny tree is no different. LOVE it bunches.

  10. What charm you create and how lovely the little tree is. The snow is amazing and the little figure resting in it is delightful. I live in Scotland UK and I have daisies and summer flowers starting to grow again. Isn't nature wonderful.. Mary

  11. I have always been a fanatic for teeny tiny things and your tree is no exception. I love it! Can't wait to see the rest of the vignette. Oh I know that would look amazing in one of your pocket watches. I need to try making some miniatures. Thanks for the inspiration. Love ya' Patricia B

  12. It's incredible that you can make something that small and yet so full of detail.
